Jean-Renaud Cuaz Even in his earliest recollections of elementary school in the south of France, Jean-Renaud Cuaz recalls his teachers asking him to copy short poems in his handwriting, which they then posted on bulletin boards in class. While his college education netted him a BA in science rather than in the arts, this was followed by many years of study at some of France's most prestigious art and design schools. Freelance graphic and typeface design assignments have become the mainstay of his professional work. One assignment, in Chicago became so regular that Cuaz eventually moved there, and met and married his wife. Today, Cuaz works from his studio in Paris.
